header_6_text_shadow_vertical_length=\u00bbheader_6_text_shadow_style,%91object Object%93&#8243; header_6_text_shadow_blur_strength=\u00bbheader_6_text_shadow_style,%91object Object%93&#8243;]\n<p>No se sabe con certeza cuando fue construida la parroquia de Agres, pero lo que es seguro es que sus or\u00edgenes datan casi del tiempo de la conquista, pues consta que el cura de Agres acud\u00eda a los s\u00ednodos diocesanos celebrados en Valencia ya en \u00e9poca tan remota como la primera mitad del siglo XIV.<\/p>\n<p>Es desconocida la fecha de la construcci\u00f3n de la actual iglesia de parroquial de San Miguel de Agres, pero si sabemos que en el 1615 se hicieron obras para paliar los da\u00f1os sufridos por un terremoto. Durante el mismo siglo XVII se hicieron var\u00edas reformas al viejo edificio, obras que continuaron en el siglo XVIII hasta tener el aspecto actual. Hay que decir que en los a\u00f1os 80 se hicieron las \u00faltimas reformas consistentes en la restauraci\u00f3n de las pinturas que hay en el interior y que pertenecen a pintores de nuestra comunidad como: Vicente Cerd\u00e0, Juan Pascual y de Remigio Soler.<\/p>\n<p>Como curiosidad decir que el campanario de esta iglesia no ha sido nunca acabado, aunque aparentemente as\u00ed parezca.<\/p>\n<p>La devoci\u00f3n a San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel es muy popular en todo el Pa\u00eds Valenci\u00e0 ya desde los primeros a\u00f1os de la conquista. M\u00e1s de 25 parroquias y oratorios de la Archidi\u00f3cesis de Valencia se representa la advocaci\u00f3n del Arc\u00e1ngel y tambi\u00e9n es frecuente en otra di\u00f3cesis valenciana, Orihuela,
