Under the gaze of the Serra de Mariola, Agres offers spectacular places crowned by the sanctuary of the Virgin of Agres and where there are a large number of water sources that come from the springs of the natural park, where we highlight the route of ice cream parlors or caves.

The area of Agres has been inhabited by man since ancient times. The archaeological sites of Cova Beneitó, Solana, Carbonell, Coveta L’emparetà, Cova del Moro, Cova les Pilars, Mola d’Agres, Pic de l’Águila, Cabeço de Mariola and Covalta, remains of Paleolithic man, 40,000 to 30,000 years before Christ, and Neolithic man, 500 years before Christ, have been discovered.
